Primeras Marcas, the exclusive distributor of the J&C Prime Brands group, has brought together sixty of the most prestigious national and international wine and spirits houses in this very special biennial meeting.
Wineries such as Jean Pierre Moueix, Louis Latour, Louis Roederer, M. Chapoutier, Markus Molitor, Gaja, Viña Tondonia, Mas Martinet, Nonino and some of the best Bordeaux châteaux have not missed this great event with the world of wine created and powered by J&C Prime Brands.
The day has an exclusive program of tastings that hung the “complete” sign a few minutes after opening their inscriptions.
MAGNIFICAT, the professional event promoted since 2014 by Juvé & Camps and the distributor Primeras Marcas, was held today, June 7, 2022, together with more than 1,800 professionals from the sector. A meeting that has brought together large wineries, as well as sommeliers, buyers, experts, journalists and critics from the national and international wine scene in which they have not only been able to enjoy masterful tastings and an exceptional level of wines, but also celebrate the centenary of the historic house at its headquarters in Espiells (Sant Sadurní d’Anoia).
Meritxell Juvé, 4th generation and CEO of Juvé & Camps, has stated that “opening the doors of our house to coincide with our centenary celebrations with this level of participation and hand in hand with these great wineries, has been a true privilege. Not only have we been surrounded by great friends, but we have also been able to enjoy the quality and excellence of the wines and sparkling wines that they all produce”.
For his part, the General Manager of Primeras Marcas, Philippe Eberlé, highlighted that “in this fourth edition of MAGNIFICAT we have been able to highlight the wine diversity of Spain and the rest of the world, and the value of our country’s gastronomy, that positively favors the world of wine. We have been working with a good part of the wineries present for more than 40 years and it has been a great success, with winemakers who have come from all over Europe”.
The day has had an exclusive program of first-class tastings whose places were sold out in less than thirty minutes from its opening. Châteaux Margaux, one of the most legendary houses in Bordeaux, presented by MW Álvaro Ribalta; tastings given by Markus Molitor and Gunter Küntsler, two of the most renowned producers in Germany; a tour of the great Italian wines of Tuscany, given by one of the most significant firms in Italy, Gaja; and a journey through the Grenache through some of its best winemakers worldwide, from M. Chapoutier, to Sara Perez, René Barbier, Telmo Rodríguez, Juan Asens, Marc Bournazeau or Joan Àngel Lliberia. Meritxell Juvé, together with her technical team, has presented the next 100 years of Juvé & Camps and its plot project, and high-altitude wines have also featured prominently, from the point of view of Pagos de Anguix, the latest acquisition of J&C Prime Brands in Ribera del Duero, through a master tasting by the oenologist José Manuel Pérez Ovejas, corporate technical advisor to the wine group.
Throughout the MAGNIFICAT day, wines from 55 wineries and distilleries from around the world have been tasted, which have come with their most recognized labels, in a traditional showroom format.
