The Government of Catalonia has awarded Joan Juv\u00e9 Santacana, President of Juv\u00e9 & Camps, the President Maci\u00e0 Labour Medal 2025, one of the country’s oldest institutional honours<\/strong>, established in 1938 to recognise individuals and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the economic and social progress of Catalonia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this year’s edition, the Government has awarded the President Maci\u00e0 Labour Medal to 18 individuals and the President Maci\u00e0 Labour Plaque to 6 organisations. These distinctions recognise outstanding professional careers, as well as personal merits, achievements and services rendered for the benefit of the public interest.<\/p>\n

The award recognises Joan Juv\u00e9 Santacana’s career as a leading figure in the Catalan wine sector<\/strong> and his contribution to the international recognition of sparkling wines<\/strong>. During his tenure at the helm of Juv\u00e9 & Camps, he has strengthened some of the winery’s most emblematic wines and helped reinforce the brand’s global positioning, combining family tradition with a business vision focused on quality, innovation and a strong commitment to the land.<\/p>\n

Joan Juv\u00e9 Santacana has also played an active role in several industry organisations, contributing to the protection, promotion and recognition of sparkling wines as a product of international quality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Receiving this distinction is an immense honour. I see it as a recognition that goes far beyond myself: it is also a tribute to all the generations that came before me<\/strong> and to everyone who has made the Juv\u00e9 & Camps project possible.<\/p>\n

I have been fortunate to dedicate my life to sparkling wine<\/strong>, to our land and to a family business that has always sought to move forward without losing its roots. For this reason, this recognition is, above all, a source of gratitude and shared pride,” says Joan Juv\u00e9, President of Juv\u00e9 & Camps.<\/p>\n
