The 2026 harvest has now come to an end at Juvé & Camps. It is a campaign we will remember for being the earliest in our history, as well as for a change that marked its development: for the first time, we harvested at night.

It all began on 27 July in Espiells, when our Viticulture team, accompanied by nearly one hundred harvest workers, began the manual harvesting of the first Pinot Noir grapes.

The heat in the preceding weeks had accelerated the ripening of the first plots, leading us to bring forward the start of the campaign. In response to these conditions, we decided to introduce night harvesting for the first time, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures at night so that the grapes could reach the winery as fresh as possible.

Harvesting at night allows us to reduce the risk of oxidation and preserve the grapes’ aromatic potential from the moment they are picked. Each bunch is carefully selected and harvested by hand in the vineyard, with the utmost care and precision.

One of the most positive aspects of the campaign has been the excellent sanitary condition of the grapes, which have reached the winery in very good condition. We have also observed good balance and natural acidity, factors that allow us to look ahead to the results of this vintage with optimism.

A harvest to keep learning from

As every year, the harvest has also been a time for observation and experimentation. During the campaign, we carried out microvinifications to study the potential of different plots and varieties, including, as a new addition this year, Xarel·lo Vermell.

Every plot, variety and vintage brings new learnings that help us deepen our understanding of our vineyards and continue to seek the fullest expression of the grapes.

This historic campaign has been made possible thanks to the hard work, experience and dedication of our Viticulture and Winery teams. The 2026 harvest is now part of our history. **The earliest. The first at night.** And a new opportunity to continue crafting wines with the precision and respect for the vineyard that define us.
