Half a century of a Brut Nature sparkling legend
When it was born in the heart of Penedès, Reserva de la Familia was an intimate sparkling wine the family shared only with those closest to them, hence its name. In 1976, Juvé & Camps decided to share it with the world, breaking away from an era dominated by sweeter sparkling wines and ushering in a new way of understanding Brut Nature, becoming both a national and international benchmark.
The project was conceived by Josep and Joan Juvé Camps, under the technical direction of Antoni Cantos González, father of the winery’s current winemaker. The first vintage, 1973, was a posthumous work of the family patriarch, and his legacy has endured to this day, becoming a symbol of rigor and authenticity. The third generation of the family, led by Joan Juvé Santacana, took over and consolidated its commercial success.

Reserva de la Familia V36, the essence of time
Reserva de la Familia V36 captures the pioneering spirit of 1976 and celebrates it with balance, freshness, and longevity. The name V36 commemorates the years that have passed between the first harvest (1973) and the 2009 vintage, the one that gives life to this unrepeatable edition. It is made with the native Penedès varieties (50% xarel·lo, 35% macabeo, and 15% parellada) sourced from the estate-owned vineyards of Espiells, La Cuscona, and Mediona. With no expedition liqueur or added sugars, it is a pure Brut Nature, true to the house philosophy. After 180 months (15 years) in contact with its lees, it reveals a subtle bubble, aromas of dried fruits and toasted bread, and a silky texture that lends it timeless elegance.
“This V36 is the purest expression of time. Fifteen years of rest transform each bubble into liquid memory: delicate, deep, infinite. It is our tribute to the silence of the cellars and the beauty of the passing years,” says Pepe Hidalgo, technical director of Juvé & Camps.
The bottle features a staple closure and a case inspired by collectible books, a tribute to the winery’s artisanal origins and its collector spirit.
