Juvé & Camps will repeat its presence at the Barcelona Wine Week (BWW), which will flood the 10,000m2 of palace 8 of Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue, from April 4th to 6th, with a rich and varied representation of all the geographical and varietal diversity of wine in Spain, expressed mainly by territory.
Double presence of Juvé & Camps, through its wineries and three D.O.
The participation of the Penedès wineries will be structured, on the one hand, with the outstanding presence of the D.O. Cava, D.O. Penedès and D.O. Ribera del Duero in the BWW Lands area, which constitutes a rich journey through the different producing regions of the country, highlighting its wine wealth and the singularities of each territory. Juvé & Camps cavas, as well as its two wine brands (Propietat d’Espiells, D.O. Penedès and Pagos de Anguix, D.O. Ribera del Duero), show the unmistakable personality of their terroirs.
On the other hand, the centenary history of Juvé & Camps -in the BWW Brands area- is represented, in which the identity of each brand is valued. This sector is aimed at wineries and distributors, in which they show their philosophy and values. In the case of the Penedès wineries, everything dates back to 1921, the year in which the brand’s first cava was produced, coming from the underground facilities of the family’s manor house located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.

The backbone of this wine fair, with the presence of more than 600 wineries, is its international vocation (350 buyers from the European and American continents, the vast majority, will attend this edition of the fair), sustainability (protagonist in presentations and tastings), wine tourism (an activity that has offered a new perspective and dimension to wine culture) and digitalisation (a package of innovations that will be associated with future business opportunities in the industry)
The second edition of the BWW wants to highlight the unique character and singular terroir of the nearly 150 native grape varieties existing in Spain, to place them as benchmarks in the world of sustainable agriculture and, consequently, in the fight against climate change.
In these aspect, Juvé & Camps wineries have an extensive experience. Faithful to a philosophy based on tradition and total respect for the natural cycles of the grape and the land, since 2010 they began to work on crops to obtain superior quality grapes, which maximised the expression of the existing soils in the three family properties (271 hectares divided between Propietat d’Espiells, Mediona and La Cuscona). As a result of all this, in 2015 and under strict premises of integrated organic viticulture, the first 100% organic harvest was achieved, a milestone for Juvé & Camps.
