Milesimé Rosé GR 2019 is the latest addition to the Milesimé Parcelarios Gran Reserva collection.

A 100% Pinot Noir sparkling wine, juicy and Mediterranean, that highlights the synergy between the most fruity part of the variety, its plot origin and the quality of the vintage.

Milesimé Rosé 2019 is the only rosé in the collection of large reserves, Milesimé Parcelarios by Juvé & Camps, which bases its principles on the synergy between soil, variety and climatic year, showing all its purity in terms of balance and elegance.

This Rosé is the most seductive version of the pinot noir from the century-old house, a sparkling wine that only sees the light in exceptional vintages and connects directly with the land from which it comes, where this variety is grown. A type of grape that is tremendously difficult to produce due to the challenge of preserving its essence and the marked Mediterranean character that it develops in this territory, a singularity that Juvé & Camps opted for more than forty years ago, when, in the eighties. The family decided to plant this Burgundian grape near Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, managing to adapt it to the ecosystem of the house and obtain a fruit with its own character and the delicacy expected of it, taking advantage of its elegance and its great aging capacity to elaborate this great reserve.

Made from grapes from Rieral, a plot located at 191 meters above sea level, the variety matures in a balanced way, due to the combination of the terrain and the moderate altitude. The preparation to obtain this rosé involves the maceration of the pinot noir with the skins, which enhances its aromas and flavors of red fruits, achieving a beautiful fruity expressiveness and preserving a necessary freshness that provides the wine with a sublime and harmonious elegance, soft and subtle tannins, and a silky and delicate texture in the mouth.

The 2019 vintage

The 2019 harvest was a harvest that began in mid-August with very good prospects for the 100% organic crop on the Juvé & Camps property, the result of a slow ripening of the grapes after a dry year, as is usual in recent years, and which implies a great increase in work by the viticulture team.

However, there were two very timely periods of rain in July and August that provided greater water balance and contributed to a more homogeneous maturity for the production of very balanced wines. The harvest of the pinot noir from the Rieral plot began on August 21 manually and selecting only the best clusters, first, in the vineyard and then, on the selection table, to leave only the perfectly ripe berries before enter deposits.

Once in the winery, the must and the skins maintain contact for a short period, giving the wine an elegant pale pink color, complexity and a seductive freshness. After the second fermentation, the Rosé remains for more than 36 months on its lees in the bottle before disgorging.

It is an attractive sparkling wine from the first glance, subtle on the nose, with notes of crisp red fruit, touches of roses and delicate floral notes. In the mouth it is juicy and broad, velvety and seductive, with pleasant nuances that provide freshness; with a hedonistic palate, with a fruity finish and a silky touch.

Milesimé Rosé is an enormously versatile sparkling wine that combines perfectly with any aperitif or gastronomic moment.
