We propose a game: travel to five emblematic corners of the planet without leaving home, thanks to the colors, flavors, aromas and textures of the Juvé & Camps cavas and the Propietat d’Espiells and Pagos de Anguix wines. Sparkling wines and broths that evoke a rich sensory world that will teleport you to incredible places, comfortably, from the sofa in the dining room or the living room.
La Capella & el Taj Mahal (India)
This funerary monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, took the meaning of love to a superlative level in the 17th century. With the morning twilight, the first rays of sunlight hit the Taj Mahal turning it into a precious golden artifact, the same characteristic color of La Capella, D.O. Cava of Qualified Place Brut Nature.
The depth of this Penedès cava, of limited production to only 3,000 bottles, will leave you with notes of curry (a characteristic Indian sauce, based on multiple spices, used for stews and stews). The Cava Paraje Calificado de Juvé & Camps demonstrates a high quality and uniqueness, as the most famous mausoleum on the planet.
Iohannes & Neuschwanstein Castle (Germany)
Blessed madness that of Louis II of Bavaria, who bequeathed us an unusual castle, devised by a theatrical set designer and who came to inspire Walt Disney himself (he took it as a reference for the Sleeping Beauty castle). The rooms included modernities such as hot air central heating, electricity, running water -also hot-, automatic drains and even a telephone line.
Iohannes, a manor guardian – portly and hedonistic like the Mad King – surely would have made a very good start at the Bavarian court. Like the quiet places that surround the imposing fortress, this Reserva Tinto D.O. Penedès is the product of long macerations that are revealed in its intense red color and in the depth of its fruity notes (black currants, plums, blackberries and cherries). The palate is vigorous and velvety, with exuberant sensations of ripe fruit; like the 200 rooms of the most famous castle in Germany.
El Rosado & Djenné (Mali)
If you love Africa, you deserve a visit to this enclave made up of thousands of adobe buildings (earth baked in the sun) and reinforced with palm leaves, among which its great mosque (which has to be restored annually) stands out.
The constructions, made based on traditional techniques, match the philosophy behind the Rosado de Pagos de Anguix. The D.O. Organic Ribera del Duero follows strict guidelines for sustainable cultivation, manual harvesting and artisanal production. Its rich and opulent palate is not incompatible with viticultural techniques that advocate caring for the environment.
Reserva de la Familia & Sydney (Australia)
One of the classics that are repeated, year after year, are the New Year’s celebrations. One of the most iconic, worldwide, is the one that takes place in this Australian city.
The fireworks, which illuminate the emblematic buildings of the Opera House and the Bay Bridge, take us to moments of joy, such as those experienced with Reserva de la Familia. The world’s best-selling Brut Nature Gran Reserva cava is fresh, vibrant and with a long and explosive finish; perfect to share with those you love the most.
Therasia & Yosemite National Park (USA)
This natural space is known for its giant redwood forests, granite cliffs, waterfalls, long trails and a great diversity of fauna and flora. It is also a mecca for climbers, with impressive rock monuments such as El Capitan. Apart from coyotes, lynxes, raccoons and deer, you can find robust black bears, among whose omnivorous feeding the vegetation stands out, as well as honey and fruits.
Precisely aromas of fleshy stone fruits (peach and apricot), hints of honey and a floral background offers us Therasia, an intense, polyhedral and elegant white wine D.O. Penedès. Like all the biodiversity of the park, in this white crianza, grapes of the Xarello, Chardonnay and Viognier varieties coexist harmoniously. Its aromatic complexity has much to do with fresh and infinite places like the one located in the state of California.
Five proposals from Juvé & Camps to go around the world, through unique and incomparable places on the five continents.
