The centenary tradition of Juvé & Camps in the field of vine, received a boost with the new millennium, in which it was decided to put the rear-view mirror to recover old traditions. The wineries led the production of premium cavas and quality red, white and rosé wines, going one step further, combining innovation with the natural cycles of the vineyards.
In this sense, the management of the cellars decided on a project to reconvert the vineyards towards integrated and organic viticulture. Thus, since 2010 work began on crops to obtain grapes of higher quality, potential and maximum expression from the soils of the three family estates (271 hectares distributed between Propietat d’Espiells, Mediona and La Cuscona). After five years of intense work to achieve integrated viticulture, the first 100% organic harvest was achieved, a milestone for Juvé & Camps.

The answer is very simple, since it is totally compatible to obtain a high-end product, respecting the natural and traditional cycles of the soil. Each cluster of base grapes for future Juvé & Camps wines and cavas is the result of meticulous sustainable cultivation, based on manual harvesting and artisanal production. The final result is unmistakable flavours, also now progressively applied in Ribera del Duero, territory of Pagos de Anguix wines. And all this, compatible with extreme care for the environment.

Blanc de Noirs, Reserva Brut D.O. Cava
The soft pressing of the Pinot Noir grape prevents the coloration of the must and offers a combination of effervescence and sustained freshness. Its beautiful golden color (sprinkled with faint reddish) hides an amalgam of aromas of white and stone fruits, cherries, honey, toasted bread and citrus. This magnificent result is only achieved thanks to organic viticulture free of synthetic chemical products (hormones, medicines, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, etc.).
Casa Vella d’Espiells, red wine D.O. Penedès
This red wine from Penedès, made with Cabernet Sauvignon, has an intense aromatic expression, with a wealth of nuances, among with notes of ripe red fruit, spices and toasted nuts stand out on a rich background of noble woods. Its passage through the mouth is unctuous and opulent, leaving elegant minty notes after smelling and tasting it. Casa Vella stands out for its good acidity and for a clear aroma of fine-grained French oak barrels.
El Rosado, rosé wine D.O. Ribera del Duero
We are in front of the first organic modality of Pagos de Anguix. Its refreshing mineral acidity and opulence is finished off with an aromatic richness with notes of red and stone fruits, as well as hints of syrup and honey, all accompanied by an attractive floral and balsamic background. This rosé wine is made from Tinto Fino and Albillo Mayor, fermented and aged for three months in barrels, which give its character and uniqueness.
Therasia, white wine D.O. Penedès
Propietat d’Espiells proposal is a heartfelt tribute to the co-founder of the winery: Teresa Camps. This intense, versatile and elegant white wine -based on the Xarel·lo, Chardonnay and Viognier varieties- is only produced in exceptional vintages. The fermentation and aging process in new oak and acacia barrels, as well as in ceramic amphorae, help the wine acquire aromatic complexity, opulence and balance.
