We are in the Espiells vineyards. The grapes begin to ripen and we enjoy a walk around the estate with Meritxell Juvé. During a stop in the shade in the “Terrassa d’Espiells” and in front of the panoramic view of the vineyards, we took the opportunity to learn about their favorite dishes for this summer.

Of course, in addition to many practices that favor naturalization and respect for the vineyard, since 2015, all the cavas and wines that we make at Celler d’Espiells, in Juvé & Camps, are 100% organic certified.
What Juvé & Camps cava cannot be missing during your holidays?
There is a cava that reminds me a lot of both the Christmas season and the summer holidays. It is the J&C Reserva de la Familia.
Which one would you wear to a casual summer party?
I would harmonize informal summer gatherings with a J&C Essential Pinot Noir. It is a cava that fits very well on these dates.
What wine would you take to a summer meal?
I think a Chardonnay… the Miranda d’Espiells 100% Chardonnay. It is a very versatile wine and can harmonize with all kinds of typical summer meals.
What elaborate would you choose to go to a mid-afternoon dinner with friends?
For this occasion I would opt for a J&C Essential Púrpura cava. It is the most versatile cava that the house has. It is a brut and is capable of pairing with all kinds of dishes, including appetizers and desserts.
