Within the cultivation systems and wine and cava production processes at Juvé & Camps, there is a critical moment that will mark the future of the future proposal: blending.
In this stage of mixing two or more varieties of vines, the winery’s oenologist, as a technical specialist in viticulture, is in charge of choosing and testing which grape varieties are going to combine in the most harmonious and surprising way possible to captivate the palate of lovers of red, white, rosé wines and premium cavas.
Magic arises from the coupage of the best Juvé & Camps grapes
This technique, also called “assembly”, “cut” or “blend” ends with the final tasting by the winemaker, in which the percentage and origin of each variety will be determined.
Once the final alchemy of the wine or sparkling wine has been defined at Juvé & Camps, it is aged in barrels or bottled, according to the process decided by the winemaker.

The sparkling Gran Juvé & Camps is Juvé & Camps’ iconic organic proposal, harvested by hand, which only appears on the occasion of exceptional vintages. In this Gran Reserva Brut Nature, the varieties of Macabeo, Xarel lo, Parellada and Chardonnay from the Espiells property come together. A characteristic gold combined with a penetrating aroma.
The fruit of stony soils on a clay-limestone background, vineyards between two and three decades old and the use of Tinto Fino and Albillo Mayor comes out of El Rosado de Pagos de Anguix, aged for 3 months in barrels, it is the most appetizing and opulent Ribera del Duero.
Gregal d’Espiells white wine is dry but at the same time carefree and aromatic. It has undergone a cold pre-fermentation maceration to preserve the freshness and fragrance of the Muscat of Alexandria (77.5%) and Gewürztraminer grapes, grown on the Juvé & Camps estates in Espiells and Mediona (Can Massana).
Iohannes red wine is the best tribute that could be paid to the founder of the winery, Joan Juvé; product only made during exceptional vintages. It is a blend of extreme quality (merlot and cabernet sauvignon, grown in the highest vineyards of the Mediona estate, 700 m above sea level).
